Extremely rude people. Anita did my taxes here last year, so I chose to go back under the impression I would save time by being a repeat customer. I called and they said Anita was working elsewhere, but the lady on the phone sounded friendly, so I took my 2017 documents there. When I got there, they told me I had to fill out a demographic packet like a new customer. I told them nothing was changed, and I had the 2016 taxes with me with all the information they would need. They said I needed to fill the packet out anyway. I held my ground and said I in a firm but not loud tone that I am paying them $400 a year, so they should be able to get the information from my old taxes as nothing had changed. For standing my ground, they all began telling me not to be rude. Rude to ask someone to do some work for the pay? More like no one has ever told you no before. For my $400 you will be doing about 3 hours of work, equal to $130/hr. And lets be honest, they are basically doing turbo tax for me, their computer does all of the work. I only take my taxes to these places so I am covered in the event something isn't done correctly. A lady near the door doing someone else's taxes began yelling at me, so I turned and left. If you insist I fill out paperwork, then I get it, and I have the right to choose elsewhere. This was beyond that, they thought they had a right to bully me into it or tell me how to spend my money. Poor customer service, and they do not incentivize you to ever come back. You are just a number to them. Being military, we will take our taxes to the free on-post service instead. I'll probably get similar customer service, but at least I won't have to pay for it.
